The new Lagoon 38 has secured one of the most prestigious honors in the international boating industry. At the opening of the 2026 International Multihull Show in La Grande-Motte, the French shipyard’s catamaran was named Multihull of the Year 2026 in the Sail – Under 45’ category.
Organized by the specialized magazine Multihulls World, this annual award is decided by the votes of enthusiasts and industry professionals, highlighting the most innovative and representative models in the global multihull market. The Lagoon 38 dominated its category with the highest number of votes, confirming the market's strong interest in a compact catamaran designed to deliver the comfort, user-friendliness, and build quality that are hallmarks of the Lagoon brand.
This achievement comes during the La Grande-Motte boat show, a world-class event exclusively dedicated to catamarans and trimarans. Running from April 22 to 26, 2026, the show brought together approximately 80 multihulls and the world's leading shipyards.
For Lagoon, this award serves as a significant validation of the 38 project, which has already established itself as a standout of the 2026 nautical season and is becoming increasingly central to the fleets of major companies like NSS Charter.
